The famous USA-1 rides high again with this latest 1:8-scale model produced under license of the USA-1 4X4 Monster Truck team. The completely new Ultra-Scale body has been recreated with the precision details that uniquely make it the USA-1 Monster Truck. It sits atop a modified super-tough chassis equipped with a realistic and robust solid axle suspension front and rear, which can be converted to 4-wheel steering with some optional parts. With modern power systems to match the USA-1 in both name and performance, this package sets new standards of brute power compared to the original Kyosho USA-1 RC trucks. In addition to its stunning details, it also features easy installation of optional LED light sets that help bring an even higher level of USA-1 realism to the RC community.

Highly detailed injection-molded parts such as the headlights and the grille, are attached to the polycarbonate body, which is ready for an easy installation of the optional LED lights. The chassis-mounted front bumper recreates the look and feel of the real truck. Many of the body details are original designs from USA-1 4X4, Inc., which are reproduced in great detail by Kyosho based on the famous 1988 monster truck.
Like other unique aspects of the USA-1 styling, the rear end has been accurately recreated with the tail lamps that are also ready for optional LED installations, and like the front end, the injection-molded heavy-duty chrome rear bumper provides an extra level of scale detail that is uniquely vintage "USA-1."
A row of five off-road lights are mounted on the chrome double-tube light bar just as they appear on the actual monster truck. Even the light covers represent those featured on the actual truck.

KYOSHO MONSTER TRUCKS USA-1 RIGID AXLE SUSPENSIONS
Front and rear axle housings have been reinforced to withstand increased crash impacts.
The front and rear axles feature fully functional differentials, complete with four metal spider gears that increase durability and allow different rotation speeds between the left and right tires when turning, for more nimble handling and easier driving characteristics.
Chassis features a combination of a newly reinforced 5-link suspension and 4WD system to efficiently and reliably transfer the breathtaking power of the engine to the ground.Five-link suspension system enables the long stroke to absorb the punishment from uneven surfaces for precision control and running performance. In addition, the rigid axle provides reliable transfer of drive force, even with the suspension fully activated.
5-link rigid suspension and large-capacity oil shocks provide plenty of suspension travel to charge confidently over rough terrain. The big shocks work in combination with the huge tires to overcome even large obstacles.

Equipped with the new KE25SP2 engine, the easier-to-adjust low-speed needle produces more power than the previous KE25SP engine. The included engine "break-in" venturi makes it easier to break in the engine with less concerning about over-revving the engine, especially for first-time owners of a nitro-powered monster truck.
Three-piece clutch shoe delivers superior durability and more precise clutch engagement regardless of the clutch shoe material. The clutch engagement RPM can be adjusted with the use of optional clutch springs (sold separately).
3-speed automatic transmission makes effective use of the nitro engine's power band. A rugged chain-drive reliably and very efficiently transmits power from the engine to the front and rear axles.
A disc brake system produces reliable and consistent stopping power in the nitro version of the USA-1.

The newly-developed brushless motor in the USA-1 generates 300rpm more per volt than the previous version motor. In addition, the waterproof ESC (speed controller) with maximum voltage of 14.8V (2 x 2S Lipo packs), allows setting adjustment of braking power, punch force, cutoff voltage, etc.
